SUNESIS is Greek for intelligence. To be precise, it’s the wisdom that enables one to run together with concepts, ideas, ideologies, deep insight and discernment. It’s when perception and the thing perceived are put together. The moment you and what you know become one, you’ll have developed SUNESIS!
This wisdom comes when one reads, studies, practices and applies what they have practiced till success is achieved.
This is how the Holy Spirit instructs us to love God and his people. Love that isn’t based on this type of wisdom is hypocritical.
Mar 12:33 KJV And to love him with all the heart, and with all the understanding (SUNESIS), and with all the soul, and with all the strength, and to love his neighbour as himself, is more than all whole burnt offerings and sacrifices.
There is SUNESIS that’s contrary to God’s will. This type invents evil things and turns people’s hearts away from God. God promises to destroy this wisdom. It’s humanistic and fear based. It’s fundamentally flawed though it has a robust economy. Most governments of the world operate under this wisdom. See what God says about this type of SUNESIS.
1Co 1:19 KJV For it is written, I will destroy the wisdom (SOPHIA) of the wise (SOPHOS), and will bring to nothing the understanding (SUNESIS) of the prudent (SUNETOS).
The wisdom of the world comes to nothing.
1Co 2:6 NET Now we do speak wisdom among the mature, but not a wisdom of this age or of the rulers of this age, who are perishing.
We must endeavour to operate in the wisdom from above.
Jas 3:17 ISV However, the wisdom that comes from above is first of all pure, then peace-loving, gentle, willing to yield, full of compassion and good deeds, and without a trace of partiality or hypocrisy.
God promises to destroy the ability of his enemies to operate in the natural and in the spiritual. He promises to frustrate the dreams and visions of the worldly. He promises to bring to nothing the political and accounting systems of those whose SUNESIS is contrary to his will. That’s SOPHIA WISDOM in all its functions. He’s also promised to destroy the wisdom of the SOPHOS who are the learned and skilled people in our society. The SUNETOS are the sagacious ones of our society. They boast longevity and wisdom based on experience and long life. Well, anything that doesn’t glorify God is useless even if it appears to be succesful enough to rule the world.
Jesus operated in SUNESIS. This enabled him to answer the doctors of the law in ways that left them baffled. His understanding of scriptures and the motions of life made his nemesis blush. He is and was and will always be the embodiment of SUNESIS WISDOM. See what Dr. Luke says about his SUNESIS.
Luk 2:47 KJV And all that heard him were astonished at his understanding (SUNESIS) and answers.
With SUNESIS, you can answer any and all questions about life and the world to come.
Paul prayed for the Colossians to be filled with SOPHIA WISDOM and SUNESIS WISDOM. As an Apostle of Jesus Christ, I pray for you too to be filled with the accurate knowledge (EPIGNOSIS) of God’s will in all wisdom (SOPHIA) and Spiritual Understanding (SUNESIS).
Col 1:9 KJV For this cause we also, since the day we heard it, do not cease to pray for you, and to desire that ye might be filled with the knowledge (EPIGNOSIS) of his will in all wisdom (SOPHIA) and spiritual understanding (SUNESIS);
Paul prayed for his son Timothy to operate in SUNESIS. I pray for you to be filled with SUNESIS WISDOM as well and to succeed in all you do and in all things.
2Ti 2:7 KJV Consider what I say; and the Lord give thee understanding (SUNESIS) in all things.
The hidden things of God become apparent when SUNESIS is activated. Paul told the Ephesians that by studying the revelation God gave him, they would get a SUNESIS of the hidden truths about Christ. You can also get the same revelation if you subject yourself to a disciplined regime of the study of God’s word.
Eph 3:4 KJV Whereby, when ye read, ye may understand my knowledge (SUNESIS) in the mystery of Christ)
As a child of God, you need to study till you have a full assurance of SUNESIS in the accurate knowledge of the secrets of God’s kingdom.
Col 2:2 KJV That their hearts might be comforted, being knit together in love, and unto all riches of the full assurance of understanding (SUNESIS), to the acknowledgement (EPIGNOSIS) of the mystery of God, and of the Father, and of Christ;
These secrets are revealed to those who talk in tongues. Tongue talkers speak mysteries and unravel those very mysteries. These mysteries are the accurate verities granted to those who pray. EPIGNOSIS is the accurate and precise knowledge of God’s word. Talk in tongues more than anything else and you’ll get to unravel these mysteries. These mysteries are the prophetic codes that define the spiritual realm.
1Co 14:2 NET For the one speaking in a tongue does not speak to people but to God, for no one understands; he is speaking mysteries by the Spirit.
SUNESIS is Spiritual Intelligence. It’s the Forensic Department of the prophetic. If you’re clever and highly skilled in a field, it’s because you are endowed with SUNESIS, whether you know it or not. You are in earnest a prophetic person in that field, be it academic or ecclesiastical. It’s now up to you to use your SUNESIS for the glory of God.
