What We Belive
These basic doctrines within The Finger of God Ministries International represent what we believe to be core elements of biblical teaching.
Jesus Christ
We believe in Jesus Christ, the Son of God. We believe that He was born of the Virgin Mary according to Scriptures, and that He grew up on earth learning the ways of His father. We believe that He died on the cross for our sins and rose again for our justification. We believe that the church of Jesus Christ was birthed at the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead.
Ascension of Jesus Christ
We believe in the ascension of Jesus Christ and His glorification. We believe that He is coming back again for a spotless church without wrinkle, blemish or such thing.
Holy Spirit
We believe in the Holy Spirit as the life of God, the One who placed Jesus in Mary’s womb, the One Jesus referred to as Father, and the One who made Him live a perfect life while on earth. We believe that He raised Jesus from the dead victorious over sin and death. We believe that the Holy Spirit is the power of God and the Author of the Church of Jesus Christ, the new creation. We believe that the Holy Spirit purifies the church as He reveals Jesus who is the Word to the church.
Gifts and the Fruits of the Holy Spirit
We believe in all the gifts and the fruits of the Holy Spirit. We believe that by the power of the Holy Spirit, all believers in Christ Jesus should cast out demons, talk in tongues, destroy serpents, defeat all poisonous attacks levelled against them, and lay their hands on the sick to make them recover.
Five offices of Jesus Christ
We believe in the five offices of Jesus Christ, namely: apostles, prophets, pastors, evangelists and teachers. We believe in the unity of the church as prayed by Jesus in John 17. We believe that as Jesus is, so are we here on earth.
Love of God
We believe in the love of God towards us and our love towards each other, and we believe that the Holy Spirit is continually perfecting our love as we put our trust in Him.
Holy Matrimony
We believe in holy matrimony of husband and wife and the sanctity of life right from the mother’s womb.

Children, Parents and Family
We believe that children must be raised in the fear and admonition of the Lord by their parents, and that family is the sanctified church of Jesus Christ.

The Holy Bible
We believe that the Bible is God’s holy Word, infallible in inspiration, accurate in its mission and powerful in its application. We believe that the Bible is the only standard God has given for life and godly living.
God uses Man
We believe that God uses human beings to preach His word, to manifest His love and demonstrate His power.

The Blood of Jesus,
We believe that through the blood of Jesus, we have forgiveness of sins, continual cleansing, justification, sanctification, purification and access to all that God has in store for us.
The Holy Communion
We believe in the Holy Communion of the saints, in the partaking of bread and wine as often as is possible as a holy sacrament and a memorial of Jesus Christ till He returns.
Fellowship & priesthood of believers
We believe in the fellowship of believers, and the priesthood of every believer. We believe in prayer to God in the name of Jesus and by the power of the Holy Spirit. We believe that God answers all prayers if they are prayed according to His Word and by faith in Christ Jesus.

Winning souls
We believe that it is our mandate to win souls, train and mature them in the ways of God in readiness for the second coming of Jesus Christ. We believe in preaching as God’s ordained method of saving souls and reconciling them to the Father.
Jesus has given us power over Satan
We believe in the existence of the devil, his fallen angels and demonic spirits, and that he is responsible for and leads the fallen world in rebellion against God and His children. We believe that Jesus defeated the devil once and for all on the cross and made a display of him, triumphing over him in His cross. We believe at Jesus has given us power over Satan and his minions, and that in casting demons out of God’s children, healing, deliverance, freedom and peace can be achieved.
Oneness of mind
We believe in reconciliation and oneness of mind as God’s children.

Believe in God the Father
We believe in God the Father as the ultimate, supreme, omnipotent, omniscient and omnipresent One. We believe that He created everything for His pleasure and for His glory. We believe that He is a loving, caring and merciful God, ready to forgive and acquit anyone who comes to Him for mercy and grace in times of need.
God is the Author of business and entrepreneurship
We believe that the church of Jesus Christ must be powerful, prosperous, successful and influential in the market place. We believe that Christians should take part in politics since all authority is God-ordained. We believe that God is the Author of business and entrepreneurship, and that Christians should participate in economic activities, and must aim to be successful and prosperous according to the Word of God.
God has equitably and divinely enabled His children
We believe that in Christ Jesus there is neither male nor female, superior or inferior, but that God has equitably and divinely enabled His children to accomplish holy tasks through several abilities.
Love our neighbours
We believe that we must love our neighbours even if they don’t subscribe to our faith. We believe in generosity, caring for the needy and in the funding of the Gospel of Jesus Christ. We believe in honour and respect to our seniors and in the protocol of leadership within the family and in the market place.
Eternal life, a new Heaven and a new Earth.
We believe in eternal life, a new heaven and a new earth. We believe in the millennial reign of Jesus Christ and His sanctified church. We believe in the final banishment of Satan and his minions into the lake of fire. We believe that we shall live with Jesus Christ in a new heaven and a new earth for eternity.
