When God breathed into Adam’s nostril, He imparted into him His very nature of wind and fire. Wind and fire makes a body undulate with life. That’s why Adam became a living soul. So, the interaction between a body (earth and water) and God’s breath (wind and fire) produces life! When these elements are separated (decomposed), death becomes the imminent result. Life can only exist when all these elements are composite.
