    THE WISDOM OF SAGES | SAKAL WISDOM

    SAKAL is the Hebrew word for a very special type of wisdom. It means to pay attention to potential circumstances. It also means to be politic. Being politic means to be artful in prudence, expedience and shrewdness. It also means to be smoothly compliant with sophistication. If you’re sophisticated and charming then you have elements of SAKAL in you.

    Diplomacy is in itself SAKAL. Being urbane is also a sign of having SAKAL. Moses had SAKAL and that enabled him to engage Pharaoh in diplomatic missions. He was also urbane, polished in manners and could easily engage royalty. He understood the city life.

    Heb 11:23 KJV By faith Moses, when he was born, was hid three months of his parents, because they saw he was a proper (ASTEIOS) child; and they were not afraid of the king’s commandment.

    ASTEIOS is the closest Greek word to SAKAL. It means to be urbane, city minded and to have polished manners.

    Jacob operated in SAKAL so that even in blindness, he was able to bless and bequeath heritage to Ephraim instead of Manasseh even though Manasseh was the the eldest child of Joseph. Being the eldest, he was the heir apparent.

    Gen 48:14 KJV And Israel stretched out his right hand, and laid it upon Ephraim’s head, who was the younger, and his left hand upon Manasseh’s head, guiding (SAKAL) his hands wittingly (SAKAL); for Manasseh was the firstborn.

    SAKAL brings prosperity. Whoever pays attention to God’s word prospers because the word gives them SAKAL.

    Deu 29:9 KJV Keep therefore the words of this covenant, and do them, that ye may prosper (SAKAL) in all that ye do.

    God wished that the Israelites were wise enough to heed the potential consequences of their actions. He wished they would consider their latter end. Whoever considers the repercussions of their actions and acts circumspectly is endowed with SAKAL wisdom.

    Deu 32:29 KJV O that they were wise, that they understood (SAKAL) this, that they would consider their latter end!

    Joshua instructed the Israelites never to waver from God’s word so as to prosper as a result of SAKAL WISDOM.

    Jos 1:7 KJV Only be thou strong and very courageous, that thou mayest observe to do according to all the law, which Moses my servant commanded thee: turn not from it to the right hand or to the left, that thou mayest prosper (SAKAL) whithersoever thou goest.

    SAKAL brings GOOD SUCCESS. Not all success is good for you. With SAKAL WISDOM, you’ll get to know the right kind of success that you should pursue.

    Jos 1:8 KJV This book of the law shall not depart out of thy mouth; but thou shalt meditate therein day and night, that thou mayest observe to do according to all that is written therein: for then thou shalt make thy way prosperous, and then thou shalt have good success (SAKAL).

    Behaving wisely in the presence of your leaders and others is a sign of SAKAL. David knew how to behave himself before King Saul and the rest of the Israelites. As a result, he was accepted.

    1Sa 18:5 KJV And David went out whithersoever Saul sent him, and behaved himself wisely (SAKAL): and Saul set him over the men of war, and he was accepted in the sight of all the people, and also in the sight of Saul’s servants.

    SAKAL will bring you good and you’ll enjoy pleasantness, wealth and prosperity.

    Pro 16:20 KJV He that handleth a matter wisely (SAKAL) shall find good: and whoso trusteth in the LORD, happy is he.

    SAKAL will enable you to understand the word of God. Ezra the Priest taught God’s people the word of God and made them understand it because he released SAKAL WISDOM upon them.

    Neh 8:13 KJV And on the second day were gathered together the chief of the fathers of all the people, the priests, and the Levites, unto Ezra the scribe, even to understand (SAKAL) the words of the law.

    The presence of the Holy Spirit in your life gives you SAKAL just as he did to the Isrraelites to the extent that they enjoyed miraculous food called manna.

    Neh 9:20 KJV Thou gavest also thy good spirit to instruct (SAKAL) them, and withheldest not thy manna from their mouth, and gavest them water for their thirst.

    Kings rule through SAKAL because they are instructed of God.

    Psa 2:10 KJV Be wise (SAKAL) now therefore, O ye kings: be instructed, ye judges of the earth.

    God lavishly pours his SAKAL upon his children as he instructs them in the way they should go.

    Psa 32:8 KJV I will instruct (SAKAL) thee and teach thee in the way which thou shalt go: I will guide thee with mine eye.

    SAKAL shall make you wisely consider that God’s ways are the best for you.

    Psa 64:9 KJV And all men shall fear, and shall declare the work of God; for they shall wisely consider (SAKAL) of his doing.

    Knowing what to say and when to say it is a sign of SAKAL.

    Pro 10:19 KJV In the multitude of words there wanteth not sin: but he that refraineth his lips is wise (SAKAL).

    SAKAL enables one to be a good speaker.

    Pro 16:23 KJV The heart of the wise teacheth (SAKAL) his mouth, and addeth learning to his lips.

    SAKAL will help you know when to give a gift or not.

    Pro 17:8 KJV A gift is as a precious stone in the eyes of him that hath it: whithersoever it turneth, it prospereth (SAKAL).

    A wife full of SAKAL is a gift from God. Before you marry, consider how prudent and circumspect your potential spouse is.

    Pro 19:14 KJV House and riches are the inheritance of fathers: and a prudent (SAKAL) wife is from the LORD.

    Jesus dealt prudently and was exalted and extolled because he had SAKAL.

    Isa 52:13 KJV Behold, my servant shall deal prudently (SAKAL), he shall be exalted and extolled, and be very high.

    Skill and wisdom for royalty is found in SAKAL. Daniel and his three brothers operated in SAKAL and the King favoured them.

    Dan 1:4 KJV Children in whom was no blemish, but well favoured, and skilful in all wisdom (SAKAL), and cunning in knowledge, and understanding science, and such as had ability in them to stand in the king’s palace, and whom they might teach the learning and the tongue of the Chaldeans.

    Dan 1:17 KJV As for these four children, God gave them knowledge and skill (SAKAL) in all learning and wisdom: and Daniel had understanding in all visions and dreams.

    Angel Gabriel is a bearer of SAKAL because of his ability to communicate complicated matters to human beings with simplicity. He made Daniel understand about the ultimate salvation of mankind through Jesus.

    Dan 9:22 KJV And he informed me, and talked with me, and said, O Daniel, I am now come forth to give thee skill (SAKAL) and understanding.

    SAKAL will move your heart to win souls and to share God’s word with his people.

    Dan 12:3 KJV And they that be wise (SAKAL) shall shine as the brightness of the firmament; and they that turn many to righteousness as the stars for ever and ever.

    As you meditate on the scriptures above, you’ll begin to operate in a very high level of SAKAL.
